Mainstream Digital of Love Lane Cirencester GL71XD, and why you should avoid them at all costs.
My name is Alexander Thomas Minton, and I had the misfortune of working for and dealing with Mainstream digital limited. I recently discovered that Mainstream Digital had been illegally hacking my e-mails over 400 times for a period in excess of 6 months following my departure from there company which ultimately led to the creation of this blog and review.
During my brief two month stint at Mainstream Digital in Cirencester, GL71XD, I actually set the all-time appointment setting record, making more calls, and doing a better job for there company than anyone had ever done before. Indeed with 117, I also managed to make more calls than anyone else would have in a day before for them. However, any time I would protest about something unfair, about being treated differently to everyone else, or if I were to react over being bullied and ostracised in an office simply for having done more appointments than everyone else, or if I were to protest about some illogical system it would be me that were reprimanded for having a 'bad attitude,' supposedly, or for not being a 'team player.' When I asked to leave Mainstream Digital on the 17th of June due to my unfair treatment despite having worked harder during my short time for them than anyone else ever had or probably ever will do I was promptly dismissed before I could leave myself, without any explanation, and without any notice period. No-doubt as a face-saving exercise on there part.
Still the fact that they dismissed me, yet would not allow me to leave of my own accord was to my benefit. It meant they had contravened many employment laws, and that I were entitled to greater amounts of renumeration upon my departure, which I had to put up a great struggle for. If it were not for my short time of employment, I would no-doubt be eligible for great renumeration for the bullying treatment that I recieved during my short time of employment for them.
Still, I assumed that eventually, after they paid me what I were owed, that it was all over, and that life had moved on. Until upon witnessing suspicious activity upon my e-mail account and putting in a subsequent information request to hotmail, I discovered that Mainstream Digital had been accessing my e-mail on over 400 occassions between late June-December 2011 when I changed my password. Which is truly disgusting.
Consequently it is safe to say that Mainstream Digital of Love Lane Industrial estate in Cirencester are nothing more than criminals. Flouting employment laws, harrassing customers, and spying on ex-employees, flagrantly in the face of the law, to simply fulfil its own base interests at the expense of morales, codes, or general human constructs. Mainstream Digital, is at its core a completely Psychopathic organisation, that will as I have witnessed go to any desperate lengths to protect its own interests no matter how illegal this may be.
It is not fair to say that this is true of everyone who works there. However, it is more a projection of the owner Mr Ian Medlock throughout his organisation.. Ian Medlock has threatened me with libel before, however, the fact that I strongly believe everything I have written to be accurate, combined with the reality that they have comitted a far greater crime against me already than any comments that could (innacurately) be deemed defamatory mean that they have no leg to stand on in this regard.

Absolutely terrible service! The staff are impolite, unhelpful, a nightmare to get hold of and there Out of Hours emergency phone number is rarely answered. The girl Judith is unbelievably cheeky, rude and disorganised, regularly arguing with us about times and dates of calls which we made to them when we needed help and there was no response i.e. Her job.
We had ongoing problems with our gas boiler which needed proper work to fix, it was never done and 141’s engineers just kept coming out an doing a botch job to get it running again. One of the times it broke down over the weekend and we couldn’t get through to the ‘Emergency out of hours number’ we ended up having to call out an engineer ourselves and pay for it ourselves as we didn’t want to have no heating or hot water all weekend and for Monday morning going to work. We were told by this non 141 boiler engineer that the boiler was unsafe and that he, by law, had to disconnect the gas from it. Then after the weekend and after a lot of hassle trying to get an engineer from 141 to come at a time when we could meet (we actually work during the day, unlike 141 Letting Agents) they did there usual botch job and got it working… Until it broke down again.
Just in case anyone out there is thinking about renting Apartment 17 Shaftesbury Court, 3 Marcus Ward Street, Belfast from these jokers, be warned…
- The boiler WILL break down repeatedly as the work needed to be carried out has not been down (it involves taking the roof down and reinstalling the exhaust flume - a big job which also means doing work outside of the apartment, therefore the apartment blocks management services responsibility and we have already been told THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN).
- There is also a problem with the plumbing meaning sometimes when the toilet is flushed or when someone else in the block flushes their toilet it sucks the water out of the U-Bends letting the stinking smells and fumes up from the sewers).
-There are also several problems with damp from leaky showers in the flat.
-If you want Sky, you’ll not be able to use Sky as there is a problem with how the dish is installed.
-We were told they would put in new carpets when we moved in… That was 2 years ago. There was more chance of Aladdin flying in through the window on a magic carpet than that happening however!
By the way, I put this part up as a warning for others as I would not wish this kind of service and treatment for £1000 a month on anyone!
AVOID THIS ‘BUSINESS’ AT ALL COSTS!!!
